Proud to Partner with the St. Sebastian Sports Project
The Saint Sebastian Sports Project (SSSP) is a nonprofit that supports sports programs in Catholic schools, especially in underserved communities, by providing financial aid and resources. Their work includes funding for equipment, coaching, and league fees, as well as offering coaching clinics, tournaments, camps, and leadership programs. Named after the patron saint of athletes, SSSP aims to promote physical fitness, academic success, and personal growth while building community and leadership skills among students.
Our Sportsmanship Commitment
Treat opponents with respect;
Shake hands prior to and after contests;
Respect the judgement of officials and
Abide by the rules of the contests;
Accept seriously the responsibility of representing your school by always displaying positive behavior;
Play in a positive manner, reflecting Christian Value.
Our mission: to give every child – regardless of family income – the chance to learn the skills, experience the growth, and share in the joy of participating in a school sports team.
Founded in 2009, we currently provide resources and offer special programs to support sports teams in 60 inner city Catholic Schools in Los Angeles. Since inception, we have enabled more than 10,000 children to benefit from the life-changing experience of playing on a sports team.
